Provide management, planning, and configuration of hardware, systems software, infrastructure components and their documentation. Perform capacity planning and management. Provide input into incident/problem management, change management, security, IT asset management and release management processes. Ensure IT business continuity, disaster recovery planning. Perform routine audits IT systems and software to ensure compliance around licenses and support agreements.
I. Manage, plan and configure systems components.

III. Document the systems/infrastructure configuration.
IV. Ensure IT business continuity, including disaster recovery planning.
V. Perform routine audits of systems and software.

1. Prior Experience:
3+ years' experience as a systems engineer.
Related insurance industry experience preferred.
2. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
3. Necessary Knowledge and Abilities:
• Knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of architecture methods (e.g., IAA and SOA).
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
• Knowledge of insurance IT systems.
• Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM methodologies.

4. Necessary On the Job Training and Orientation:
Six months; by the end of this time period, the employee must be able to function with minimum supervision; however, up to one year may be required before all aspects of the job are encountered.
