What you’ll be doing:

The Digital Product Owner is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our customer facing owned digital products (Websites, Landing Pages, Self-Service Portals, etc.).  The Digital Product Owner will shape the future of our user experience, leading to improved customer acquisition and retention.  This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design, agile methodologies, and the ability to translate diverse user needs into innovative digital solutions. The Digital Product Owner will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, etc. to deliver exceptional omni-channel experiences that drive user satisfaction and business growth.

On any given day, you’ll:

  • Strategic Product Vision & Planning:
    • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for customer facing digital experiences.
    • Research industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product strategy.
  • User & Business Focus:
    • Understand user needs through research and data.
    • Leverage customer journeys to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
    • Apply knowledge of the financial services/insurance industry, including regulations and legal requirements.
  • Product Definition & Execution:
    • Ensure customer and business needs are translated into clear product specifications to enable user story development.
    • Prioritize the product backlog to align with strategy and business goals.
    • Actively participate in agile ceremonies for timely product delivery.
  • Stakeholder & Communication:
    • Manage internal stakeholder alignment on user needs, priorities, and roadmap.
    • Lead change management for digital experience adoption, including communication and training.
    • Serve as an expert and evangelist for digital products.
  • Performance, Optimization & Accountability:
    • Define and track KPIs to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
    • Take ownership of digital product performance, including user adoption and satisfaction. Drive changes to improve performance against established KPIs.

Here’s what we expect

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with the ability to cater to diverse user needs.
  • Proven experience facilitating Design Thinking workshops (e.g., Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test) with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights for different user segments.  

Preferred

  • Experience in building and scaling digital products for different user types, ideally including both end-customers and business partners.
  • Experience working with and managing content and functionality within Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs) such as Sitecore, Liferay or Adobe Experience Owner.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Experience with A/B testing and other optimization techniques.
  • Background and understanding of the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Certifications in product management or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner - CSPO) is a plus.

Exact compensation will vary based on consideration of a variety of factors including education, skills, experience, and location.

 

Minimum Compensation

USD $89,400.00/Yr.

Maximum Compensation

USD $134,100.00/Yr.
