Introduction

Church Mutual Insurance Company has an opening in Merrill, Wisconsin, for a Senior DataOps Engineer position.

What you’ll be doing:

Administer analytics platforms across CMIC's data ecosystem, leveraging a variety of DataOps, data warehousing, and system administration methodologies and disciplines. Implement and operate the analytics platform ecosystem including cloud-based technologies, industry leading business intelligence and visualization products, as well as industry leading analytics infrastructure platforms. Install, upgrade, configure, optimize, and administer required application platforms, both on-premises and cloud-based. Participate in implementations, upgrades, updates, patches, enhancements, and customizations of the analytics systems in the data ecosystem.

On any given day, you’ll:

Manage the application platform components related to configuration, security, and connectivity. Monitor all environments to detect issues and trends before they impact users. Monitor and improve the performance, efficiency, effectiveness, and orchestration of analytics systems across the data ecosystem. Identify, develop, implement, review, and revise process improvements, procedures, and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance. Recommend and follow security management practices, including the ongoing promotion of awareness on current threats, auditing of server logs, and other security management processes. Ensure analytic systems have the necessary controls and compliance standards (such as HIPAA) regarding data access, data security, data sensitivity and data confidentiality. Facilitate the SDLC process across the various analytic tools and environments which includes the release of data pipelines and analytic solutions into production. Develop automated engineering solutions and deliver leading-edge data science and machine learning solutions. Maintain an awareness and make recommendations regarding marketplace changes regarding analytic systems. Identify and recommend hardware, software, and service upgrades.

Here’s what we expect

Requires Master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, plus at least 3 years of experience with (1) data development, data engineering, and/or data administration; (2) Windows Servers and Windows Server maintenance and monitoring; (3) PowerExchange CDC and Informatica Suite tools. Position also requires at least 2 years of experience with (1) SQL Server database environments and (2) PowerShell scripting, cloud data management, and scheduling tools. USD $130,229.00/Yr.

Maximum Compensation

USD $169,800.00/Yr.
