Develop and configure all aspects of new application systems. Design, enhance, program, and maintain new application solutions while adhering to development specifications and standards. Provide detailed technical program specifications and algorithms to implement desired business functionality and determine how best to implement them for new program development. Ensure overall application system integrity and meeting project schedules. Code application logic and data access and perform unit tests.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using Java and related technologies.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Work with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with business analysts and domain experts to understand and translate insurance domain requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends, especially in the insurance sector.

• One to five years prior new application developer experience required.
• Core Java/J2EE: Strong experience in Java development with hands-on expertise in J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate, and related technologies.
• Front-End Development: Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.
• Database Management: Experience with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, and knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Web Services (preferred): Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Version Control: Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Cloud Services: Exposure to cloud platforms such as, Azure.
• DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment tools.
• Insurance Domain (preferred): Understanding of insurance business processes, policy management, claims processing, or underwriting systems.
